Corset 7: Iselin

Iselin had a skirt she didn't like. Actually she likes the colour and the fabric, but not the shape.
When she asked me to make something else out of it, my limited imagination suggested a corset.

Well to be frank she wanted a corset initially and we found this skirt in her wardrobe afterwards. She bought it at a flea market long time ago but never worn it due to it's old-lady-style.
It just sound more exciting writing the introduction the other way around

What's left of the skirt

The skirt is made of viscose with floral pattern and a modest shine. Gorgeous fabric. And a red corset is always a hit.
When thinking about it this is one of my few reuse projects. Though I kinda like the idea of using something old and make something new out of it.
Makes me feel environmental friendly. For all that I know it may even be environmental friendly.
I should do this more often.

Had some luck with the weather today. Out of those 300 raining days yearly in Bergen this wasn't one of them. Got to say I'm quite happy with the picture. Iselin looks wonderful in that corset, if I do say so myself.
